Zach McClellan

Demand Command Owner Zach McClellan brings a wealth of experience as both an instructor and player to the table.

The former IU pitching standout was selected in the fifth-round of the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft by the Kansas City Royals. After three seasons with the Kansas City organization McClellan was traded to Colorado, where he was converted into a reliever. He worked his way through the minor league system and made his major league debut on April 17, 2007.

McClellan spent a month working out of the Rockies’ bullpen before a shoulder and later a knee injury brought an end to his professional career. During his nine professional seasons, McClellan made 227 appearances and compiled a 4.05 ERA while winning 35 games.

Since concluding his playing career, McClellan launched Demand Command with the goal of providing youth baseball players with professional caliber instruction. Now in its third year, Demand Command offers year-round clinics and lessons to many of the top area baseball players.
